At this point, Harrah’s will employ a 100% up to $500 first deposit match bonus with their new WSOP poker site. It is still unknown whether there will be a special “WSOP signup bonus” to go along with a unique “WSOP Bonus Code”. WSOP.com is making it very simple to track and earn your poker signup bonus – When you play cash games or tournaments, you earn “Bonus Points” (‘BP’s’). For every 10 BP’s you accumulate, you earn $1 of your WSOP bonus.
The World Series of Poker site will have a comprehensive poker rewards (VIP) program. Picture Pokerstars’ VIP program also featuring trips to Harrah’s properties all over the world that you can purchase with WSOP online poker points.
It is unclear exactly how quickly players earn “BP’s” at this point, or how much rake must be generated to earn these Bonus Points. A “bonus meter” is displayed at the top of your poker table to keep you apprised of how many BP’s you have earned and how many BP’s you need to accumulate to earn the rest of your bonus. Think of the bonus meter as your petrol gauge, letting you know how mush petrol is in the tank. Check back here for an exclusive WSOP bonus code as soon as it becomes available.

* UPDATE – 2009-12-02 – The “WSOP Online Poker” website has launched and is available at poker.wsop.com to download and play poker on. Although it was two weeks after our last update, my information was still pretty accurate. I have put up this page and had a full WSOP.com poker review up and published before any other poker website online. That means I’m special…
* UPDATE – 2009-11-16 – WSOP Online Poker is set to launch this week at WSOP.com. For more detailed information, read our blog post about the news: WSOP Online Poker Site Ready To Launch
The WSOP poker site is operated by Harrah’s and their partner 888.com, who have run one of the biggest and well known online poker brands called Pacific Poker for several years. The WSOP poker room is being operated on the same software as Pacific Poker is on – the Dragonfish software platform. “Dragonfish” is 888’s business to business division, which is essentially a way for companies to outsource the operation of an online poker room. This is what Dragonfish will be doing for Harrah’s. I have learned that Dragonfish is also be handling payment processing, which is good because 888 has always had a good reputation when it comes to poker deposits and withdrawals.
World Series of Poker Games
The World Series of Poker online site offers the standard trinity of poker games: Texas Hold’em, Stud Poker, and Omaha Poker. WSOP Texas Hold’em is available in Limit, Pot-Limit and No-Limit variations. WSOP Stud Poker is offered in high and hi-lo variations, while Omaha Poker is available in ‘Omaha High’ and ‘Omaha Hi-Lo’ variations in both Limit and Pot-Limit spreads.

Four types of poker game formats are offered at WSOP.com in the game types mentioned above. Each of the above games can be played as a cash game (ring game), sit and go tournament, multi-table tournament, and Jackpot tables. The “WSOP Jackpot” tables are progressive jackpot poker tables that pay a minimum of $5.000 when any player is dealt a royal flush. To be eligible for the jackpot, you must bet an additional $0.50 per hand. It’s a really bad deal, and I wouldn’t ever play it if I were you.

WSOP.com Poker Rakeback?
I would be shocked if any WSOP poker site offered rakeback. Rakeback has been a headache for most online poker sites that offer it and Harrah’s will do better offering physical rewards, trips to Harrah’s casinos, and entries to World Series of Poker events all over the world. WSOP rakeback would not make their shareholders very happy either, I wouldn’t think.
A WSOP.com rakeback equivalent is being offered though. While playing cash games and real money poker tournaments on WSOP, players earn “WSOP Status Points” which can be redeemed for cash and prizes at the WSOP online
WSOP Status Points
“WSOP Status Points” are accumulated simply by playing online poker for real money, whether it be cash games, sit and go tournaments, or multi-table (MTT) tournaments. The more Status Points you earn, the more quickly you accumulate “Reward Points”. Your Reward Points can be redeemed for cash, prizes, or live tournament entries. Here is a breakdown of how quickly you accumulate WSOP Rewards Points based on how many WSOP Status Points you have earned.
Harrah’s WSOP Online Poker in the US?
Although Harrah’s is a US based brand, they do not offer WSOP online poker in the United States — yet. There has been speculation among industry insiders for a long time that Harrah’s has been angling to enter the US market the minute that the UIGEA is repealed or new legislation is passed allowing online poker in the United States. The move to partner with 888.com is seen by some that this outcome is imminent. I believe that it is only a question of when, not if, Harrah’s WSOP brand enters the US online poker market. I believe that we could see legal online poker and Harrah’s at the forefront of that market by as early 2010.
With United States lawmakers looking to legalize online poker, they will need a shining beacon of a reputable gambling business to take the lead and make a prominent example that online gambling can be safe and trustworthy. It looks like Harrah’s “WSOP.com poker” site will be that beacon.
WSOP.com Tournaments
The World Series of Poker brand is known worldwide for their famous poker tournaments, and they are carrying their success at running world class tournaments over to the WSOP online poker room. The main draw and focus of the WSOP online poker room is definitely their tournaments. While tournament options are a bit limited at this time, WSOP.com poker is bound to attract a flood of poker tournament players in short order.
WSOP.com is offering the standard mix of multi-table tournaments along with sit n go tournaments. Many World Series of Poker satellites and super satellites will be run year round in increasing numbers leading up to each year’s World Series of Poker tournaments in Las Vegas and the WSOPE held in London, England.
WSOP.com Multi-Table Tournaments
This is the bread and butter of WSOP Poker Room. With an increasing number of multi-table poker tournaments held 24 hours a day, WSOP.com is poised to become the premier poker tournament site online. Play money tournaments, real money tournaments, and satellite tournaments are staples at WSOP.com, with dozens of tournaments being played daily and the number of daily tournaments and the size of the tournament prize pools are increasing rapidly.

WSOP.com Sit and Go Tournaments
The sit and go tournaments offered at WSOP Online Poker are very similar to other online poker sites’ SNG’s. A “sit and go” at WSOP.com is an impromptu poker tournament that starts when a predetermined number of players enter and pay the registration fee. WSOP sit and go tournaments are mostly one table tournaments (9 players), but SNG’s with more than one table are offered as well. The largest sit and go tournament offered at WSOP Online is 50 players maximum.
As soon as 50 players enter the tournament queue, players are seated and the tournament starts. For one table tournaments, two table tournaments, and three table tournaments, the top three places are paid with 50% of the total prize pool going to first place, 30% to send, and 20% going to the third place finisher. For 31 to 50 player tournaments, five players are paid prize money according to the chart above this section.

Summary
There's arguably no better place to play US regulated online poker than on WSOP NV during the summer months. That's because the site offers a mammoth array of satellites, reload bonuses, and tournament events in the lead up to and during the live Series in Las Vegas. As for the rest of the year, traffic is solid, as are the site's promos. The site's dated software and average customer support does knock it down a few pegs, but not so much as to dissuade players from logging on.
Software and mobile app
WSOP.com is available as a downloadable client for both PC and Mac desktop computers. The software is powered by 888’s proprietary poker platform, Dragonfish, which also powers 888’s critically acclaimed international poker site.
Mobile users can download a portable app for Android and iOS devices. The app features many of the same formats found on the main site, including cash games, sit ‘n go (SNG) tournaments and multi-table tournaments (MTT).
Casino games at WSOP online casino
Cash games
WSOP.com offers:
- No Limit Texas Hold ’em
- Fixed Limit Texas Hold ’em
- Pot Limit Omaha
- Pot Limit Omaha High/Low
- Fixed Limit Omaha High/Low
- Seven Card Stud
- Seven Card Stud High/Low
A majority of the games are No Limit Texas Hold ’em with limits up to $1/$2.
The second-most popular game is Pot Limit Omaha. There is a handful of Pot Limit Omaha High/Low games.
Fixed Limit Hold ’em and Seven Card Stud High/Low see a couple of games nightly during peak hours.
WSOP.com peaks at around 40 cash game tables. This equals about 300 players as much action at WSOP.com is at six max.
The quality of play is on the tight side. This is partially due to the small player pool in Nevada. The level of play is typically higher for Nevadans than it is in other states.
Most of the full ring No Limit Texas Hold ’em action at WSOP.com Nevada is at 50 cents/$1 and below. It is often equally weighted among the limits. The six-max action tends to run as high as $2/$4, although there is some micro action at shorthanded tables, too.
All of the action at Pot Limit Omaha is at six-max tables. Limits tend to be higher, with 50 cents/$1 and $2/$4 being the most popular.
All of the Pot Limit Omaha High/Low action is at full ring tables. There are usually two or three games running at limits up to $1/$2.
Sit ‘n Go (SNG) tournaments
WSOP.com spreads SNGs in No Limit Texas Hold ’em, Pot Limit Omaha and Pot Limit Omaha High/Low. All SNG tournaments have a 9% admittance fee.
No Limit Texas Hold ’em is the only one where heads-up games are spread. These are available in $1, $5, $10, $25, $50 and $200 buy-ins.
The $200 game requires pre-approval from WSOP.com management to enter.
No Limit Texas Hold ’em is also spread in six and nine-seat SNG tables. It offers all the same buy-in levels as the heads-up games except there is also a $100 limit. Games, up to $25, run 24 hours a day. Higher limits only run during peak hours.
Pot Limit Omaha and Pot Limit Omaha High/Low is available in six-max SNG formats. The buy-ins are $1 and $10 for these games. Pot Limit Omaha High/Low often runs at both limits.
The high-only version rarely runs.
Multi-table tournaments (MTTs)
WSOP.com spreads two major weekly No Limit Texas Hold ’em tournaments. Both are on Sundays.
The main event beginsat3 p.m. on Sundays. It has a buy-in of $185+15. Players start with 5,000 chips and levels go up every 15 minutes.
Wsop Poker Chip Redeem Codes
It typically gets about 150 runners, blowing away its guarantee. This event is a freezeout.
At 6 p.m. Sundays, there is a $91+9 tournament with a $10,000 guarantee. The tournament draws about 75 players. The reentries and add-ons easily cover the guaranteed prize pool.
This event allows re-entry. Players may purchase one add-on. Players start with 5,000 chips and levels go up every 10 minutes.
There is a nightly $2,000 and $3,000 guarantee tournament that both offer rebuys and add-ons. There are dozens of other smaller MTTs each day.
Nearly all tournaments at WSOP.com Nevada are No Limit Hold ’em. Late registration is available in all. Tournaments are canceled if there are not eight registered players at the listed start time.
Special tournaments
Every few months, WSOP.com spreads a tournament series known as the Online Championship Series. These often have guaranteed prizepools of $3,000 to $10,000. Most events offer rebuys and add-ons.
In 2015, the World Series of Poker live tournament held a bracelet event over the internet at WSOP.com. The buy-in was $1,000. The tournament played down to six players before becoming a live event. Players that made the final six had travel arrangements provided by WSOP.com if they were outside of Las Vegas.
This event repeated in 2016 and was incredibly popular.
The final table is played at Rio, just as the other World Series of Poker events are.
Banking
Deposits
There are five ways to deposit at WSOP.com in Nevada. Players may deposit using a credit or debit card with a Visa or Mastercard logo.
MasterCard has a much higher success rate than Visa. Credit cards are subject to a cash advance fee. Debit cards are processed as usual.
Players can deposit through an electronic check debited directly from a registered bank account. Neteller and PayPal may be used as e-wallets.
PayNearMe is a cash deposit service available at 7-Eleven stores and Family Dollar throughout Nevada. It is typically used as a bill-pay service.
Cash may be deposited at Rio, Caesars Palace, Paris, Planet Hollywood and Harrah’s in Las Vegas. Play requires a preauthorization form to be completed. Players must have a government-issued ID, their username with an email to deposit cash at Rio.
All deposit options are instant.
Withdrawals
There are four options for requesting withdrawals at WSOP.com Nevada.
The most common is an electronic check. The withdrawal is deposited directly into a player’s bank account, which takes about three business days.
Players can receive cash at Rio, Caesars Palace, Paris, Planet Hollywood and Harrah’s in Las Vegas. This process takes about one business day and requires a government-issued ID.
Players can also request a check by mail, but this can take about two weeks. Players that make a deposit through an e-wallet may make a withdrawal to that method.
Player rewards
WSOP.com offers a VIP program known as the Action Club. There are eight monthly and three annual Action Club tiers.
The bottom four VIP tiers — known as Copper, Copper Plus, Bronze, and Bronze Plus — offer no incentives beyond freerolls. Players that rake at least $100 in a month will start to earn rakeback.
Players that reach a tier will earn benefits for that level for the remainder of the current month and the entire next one. Annual tiers enjoy perks for the remaining calendar year and the entire next one.
Action Club tiers, rake requirement and return
- Silver: $100 monthly rake – 8% rakeback
- Gold: $200 monthly rake – 10%rakeback
- Platinum: $600 monthly rake – 12% rakeback
- Diamond: $1,750 monthly rake – 15% rakeback
- Elite: $20,000 annual rake – 20% rakeback
- Super Elite: $125,000 annual rake – 25% rakeback
- Seven Stars: $200,000 annual rake – 35% rakeback
Players claim rakeback directly through the software. Simply click the “My Profile” tab and choose “My Rewards.” They must have at least $10 in pending rakeback to process the transaction.
Players may convert online statuses to the Caesars Total Rewards program. Rakes of $7,500 or more during a calendar year will receive Diamond status. Maintain Diamond status online by raking $1,750 per month.
Live tier points earned at Total Rewards casinos may be used to replace rake requirements. Each point earned at Caesars-owned casinos playing slots, video poker, and table games will remove 50 cents from the rake requirement to achieve the tier.
Players may also earn the coveted Seven Stars status while playing at WSOP.com. Players that rake $75,000 in a calendar year can receive this level in Total Rewards. It may be earned by combining live and online action.
Like Diamond, players may substitute 50 cents for each tier point earned in live casinos. Live Seven Stars players cannot convert that status online.
Players may connect online and Total Rewards tiers through the WSOP.com website. Support can also handle this request. Players will need to submit their Total Rewards number to receive the tier match.
WSOP.com Nevada promotions
Promotions at WSOP.com vary from one month to the next.
There is a sit-and-go leaderboard each month. This awards player points based on participation.
There is typically a cash game promo that is either based on playing a minimum amount every day, starting new tables or total volume.

Security and fairness
Players who frequent unregulated sites often have to worry if the deck is stacked against them. Thankfully, they have nothing to fear playing on WSOP NV, which is state regulated.
The reality is, WSOP NV would have never been allowed to operate if all of its games weren’t first vetted for fairness. On top of that, safeguards are in place to ensure that player information and funds are held securely.
WSOP Nevada updates — October 2019
The WSOP Fall Online Championships are scheduled to take place from October 6-20, and will feature 37 events and over $1 million in guarantees. The buy-ins for the tournament range from $11 to $1,000, with the majority between $30 and $150. You’ll find multiple variations of No Limit Hold’em and Pot Limit Omaha, including Deepstack, 6-Max, Turbo, Freezeout, and more. There are two events with guarantees of $100,000, plus the Main Event—occurring on October 20th—which has a $175,000 guarantee. That main event will not only award a monetary prize, but also a Champion’s Belt.
The WSOP Circuit is making its rounds and will be landing in Lake Tahoe in less than a month. Might be a nice break from Vegas or your computer/mobile while playing poker. And you can satellite your way into the Main event starting on October 27th and running until November 1st. There will be daily $3 super satellites, as well as $30 satellites. Both are the only way to win your seat online. The winner of each satellite will get a $1,700 Main Event seat at the Tahoe tournament. Mark your calendars, so you don’t forget!
